Omega-6 — represent polyunsaturated fatty acids, composed of linoleic, gamma-linolenic and arachidonic fatty acids. When entering the body, fatty acids help to strengthen the immune system, reduce the concentration of “bad” cholesterol in blood and the risk of sclerosis, arthritis, and diabetes, improve memory and slow down the aging processes.
Omega-9 — are monounsaturated fatty acids, which contain oleic, erucic, eicosenic, midic, elaidic and nervonic or selacholic acids. They do not belong to the group of essential acids and can be synthesized by the body on the basis of the obtained omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Omega-9 fatty acids are the part of every human cell and play an important role in metabolic processes, affecting the synthesis of hormones and exhibiting anti-inflammatory effect. They also help to maintain the normal glucose levels, strengthen the immune system, and lower the cholesterol levels.
Omega-3 — are polyunsaturated fatty acids; they include eicosapentaenoic, docosahexaenoic and alpha-linolenic fatty acids. Omega-3 have a beneficial effect on the body, support the brain and heart functions, mitigate the risk of blood clots, cerebral accidents and heart attacks, reduce inflammation, improve the health of the organs of vision and functioning of the nervous system.
