Betula сortex (betulin) – is the main component of the extract of silver bark – the top layer of birch bark. It helps the body to adapt to various adverse environmental factors, stresses, physical and mental workloads, in jobs with harmful working conditions and weather dependence.
Betulin protects liver cells from damage by various chemicals, helps to neutralize and remove the harmful substances from the body, normalizes bile secretion, lowers the level of blood lipids, improves the condition of blood vessels making them elastic, improves blood flow, and reduces inflammation, edema, and manifestations of allergies. It also promotes dissolving kidney stones and gallstones.
Betulin reduces the number of mutations in chromosomes and genes, the rate of occurrence of hereditary changes in the body, prevents the emergence of cancer cells and has antitumor activity, due to inducing apoptosis (programmed death) of cancer cells.
